Translation (English)

The mighty Hanuman crossed the inviolable sea, stood comfortably on the peak of Trikuta mountain and looked at Lanka.

M.N. Dutt (1891)

Commentary

Hanuman has crossed the ocean — the impossible has been accomplished. From the peak of Trikuta mountain, he sees Lanka for the first time. The word 'svastha' (comfortably, at ease) is striking after the violent departure from Mahendra mountain. Hanuman arrives not exhausted but composed.
