मुमोच च शिलाः शैलो विशालाः समनःशिलाः। मध्यमेनार्चिषा जुष्टा धूमराजीरिवानलः

The mountain threw down big boulders along with sulphur just like fire emits columns of smoke, surrounded by flames.

Commentary
Fire and brimstone issue from the mountain alongside the precious metals — creation and destruction in balance. The simile of fire emitting columns of smoke suggests that the mountain itself has become a sacrificial altar, with Hanuman as both priest and offering.
