गिरिणा पीड्यमानेन पीड्यमानानि सर्वतः। गुहाविष्टानि भूतानि विनेदुर्विकृतैः स्वरैः
giriṇā pīḍyamānena pīḍyamānāni sarvataḥ| guhāviṣṭāni bhūtāni vinedurvikṛtaiḥ svaraiḥ
Squeezed on all sides of the mountain by Hanuman, all creatures living in the caves shrieked making horrible sounds .

Commentary
The creatures in the mountain's caves cry out in distress as the mountain is squeezed. This verse acknowledges that Hanuman's divine power, however righteous, causes disruption in the natural order. The poem does not shy away from the cost of great actions.
