ततस्सुमन्त्रं द्युतिमान्राजा वचनमब्रवीत्। रामः कृतात्मा भवता शीघ्रमानीयतामिति

tatassumantraṃ dyutimānrājā vacanamabravīt| rāmaḥ kṛtātmā bhavatā śīghramānīyatāmiti

Translation (English)

Thereafter the glorious king said to Sumantra, Bring immediately the selfpossessed Rama.

M.N. Dutt (1891)

Commentary

Dasharatha speaks the words that set the final act in motion: 'Bring Rama.' The command is simple and direct. After fifty verses of preparation, the single sentence that matters — summon the prince. The weight of all that has been built now rests on this summons.
