कृतमित्येव चाब्रूतां अभिगम्य जगत्पतिम्।।2.3.21।। यथोक्तवचनं प्रीतौ हर्षयुक्तौ द्विजर्षभौ।
kṛtamityeva cābrūtāṃ abhigamya jagatpatim yathoktavacanaṃ prītau harṣayuktau dvijarṣabhau|
Satisfied with the arrangements, the two illustrious brahmins(Vasistha and Vamadeva) approached the lord of the earth (Dasaratha) with delight and said All things have been arranged in accordance with your word of command.

Commentary
The two brahmins confirm to Dasharatha that all is ready. The moment is the calm before the event — all preparations made, all orders given, only the principal actor remains to be summoned. The stage is set for Rama's entrance.
