तच्छ्रुत्वा सुहृदस्तस्य रामस्य प्रियकारिणः।।2.3.46।। त्वरिताः शीघ्रमभ्येत्य कौसल्यायै न्यवेदयन्।
tacchrutvā suhṛdastasya rāmasya priyakāriṇaḥ tvaritāḥ śīghramabhyetya kausalyāyai nyavedayan|
Having heard this, Rama's friends quickly reported the matter to Kausalya so that she might be happy.

Commentary
Rama's friends rush to tell Kausalya the news. The informal detail — friends running to share good news — cuts through the grandeur. The coronation of Rama is not only a state event but a moment of personal joy for those who love him, especially his mother.
