तमेवंगुणसम्पन्नं रामं सत्यपराक्रमम्। लोकपालोपमं नाथमकामयत मेदिनी
tamevaṃguṇasampannaṃ rāmaṃ satyaparākramam| lokapālopamaṃ nāthamakāmayata medinī
The earth desired to have Rama, richly endowed with such virtues, possessing proven prowess, comparable to Indra and other regents of the world, as her lord.

Commentary
The earth desires Rama as her lord. The personification returns, stronger than before. It is not merely the people who want Rama — the very planet yearns for his rule. The cosmic and the political converge in the assembly's plea.
