युनक्त्यर्थैः प्रहृष्टश्च तमसौ यत्र तुष्यति।।2.2.46।। शान्तै स्सर्वप्रजाकान्तैः प्रीतिसञ्जननैर्नृणाम्। गुणैर्विरुरुचे रामो दीप्त स्सूर्य इवांशुभिः
yunaktyarthaiḥ prahṛṣṭaśca tamasau yatra tuṣyati śāntai ssarvaprajākāntaiḥ prītisañjananairnṛṇām| guṇairviruruce rāmo dīpta ssūrya ivāṃśubhiḥ
When pleased, Rama bestows wealth. Like the Sun shining with his rays, He shines with his qualities of tranquil, charming and loving nature.

Commentary
Rama shines with tranquillity, self-control, and generosity. The triad echoes the three great qualities of the Bhagavad Gita's Sattva — serenity, mastery, and liberality. The verse is a capsule summary of Rama's spiritual constitution.
