अरोगस्तरुणो वाग्मी वपुष्मान्देशकालवित्। लोके पुरुषसारज्ञ स्साधुरेको विनिर्मितः
arogastaruṇo vāgmī vapuṣmāndeśakālavit| loke puruṣasārajña ssādhureko vinirmitaḥ
He was young, eloquent, healthy and free from disease. He was conscious of (right) time and place (for his pursuits). He was capable of ascertaining the potentiality of men. He was born a sage in this world.

Commentary
Rama is young, eloquent, healthy, and conscious of right time and place. These qualities may seem ordinary after the grand descriptions of virtue, but they matter: a ruler must be present, healthy, and appropriately timed in his actions. Wisdom without health cannot govern.
