जिन्ह कें राम भगति अति नीकी। तिन्ह कें सम नहिं आन अनीकी॥ राम भगति जल अगम जगि होई। बिनु गुरु पाव न कोइल कोई॥
jinha keṃ rāma bhagati ati nīkī| tinha keṃ sama nahiṃ āna anīkī|| rāma bhagati jala agama bagi hoī| binu guru pāva na koila koī||
Those who possess supreme devotion to Rama have no equal in this world. The ocean of devotion to Rama is inaccessible; without a Guru, no one can cross it.
जिनके मन में राम की भक्ति अति उत्तम है, उनके समान कोई नहीं है।
Commentary
Supreme devotion to Rama makes one incomparable. But the ocean of devotion is vast; without a guru no one can cross it. Devotion is both goal and path, and the guru is the boat.
