बंदउँ गुरु पद पदुम परागा। सुरुचि सुबास सरस अनुरागा॥ अमिय मूरिमय चूरन चारू। समन सकल भव रुज परिवारू॥
bandauṃ guru pada paduma parāgā| suruci subāsa sarasa anurāgā|| amiya mūrimaya cūrana cārū| samana sakala bhava ruja parivārū||
I bow to the pollen of the lotus feet of the Guru, which removes the entire family of worldly ailments.
मैं गुरुदेव के चरणकमलों की पराग को नमस्कार करता हूँ, जो सुरुचिपूर्ण, सुगंधित, रसयुक्त और अनुराग से भरी है।
Commentary
The guru's lotus feet are a healing powder — sweet-smelling and capable of curing all worldly ailments. The guru is essential for spiritual progress. Without the guru's grace, the path of devotion remains closed.
