That son of the Windgod stood on the mountain and saw the forests and groves round Lanka situated on the mountain peak.

Commentary
Hanuman enters Lanka with the same deliberation he showed on Mahendra mountain. The night city is described in detail — silent streets, guarded gates, and the distant sound of Ravana's court. Every detail draws the reader deeper into the world of the epic.
