उपवाह्य स दुष्टात्मा भरतं तव बन्धुषु। काल्ये स्थापयिता रामं राज्ये निहतकण्टके
upavāhya sa duṣṭātmā bharataṃ tava bandhuṣu| kālye sthāpayitā rāmaṃ rājye nihatakaṇṭake
That evilminded one, having sent Bharata away to your relations house, is going to install Rama unhindered in the kingdom at dawn tomorrow.

Commentary
'He sent Bharata away so he could crown Rama unhindered.' The accusation is brilliant because it contains a grain of circumstance — Bharata IS away. Manthara takes an innocent fact and spins it into evidence of conspiracy. The truth has been weaponised.
