alaṅkāraṃ purasyaivaṃ kṛtvā tatpuravāsinaḥ| ākāṅkṣamāṇā rāmasya yauvarājyābhiṣecanam sametya saṅghaśassarve catvareṣu sabhāsu ca| kathayanto mithastatra praśaśaṃsurjanādhipam
Thus the residents of Ayodhya decorated the city and eagerly waited for Rama's cornonation as heirapparent. Gathered in groups at public squares and in the assembly halls they conversed among themselves about the event, praising Dasaratha, the lord among men.

The residents of Ayodhya eagerly wait for Rama's coronation. The city holds its breath. All preparation is complete. Every hand has done its work. Now there is only waiting — the most beautiful and most fragile state, because waiting can be broken by a single word.
